Here are a few possibilities for places to stay:
Kilbourn Manor- a B&B in Malone, NY (35 min drive*)
Park Street Inn- another Malone B&B (35 min)
Hotel Plaza Valleyfield- if you're a city mouse who can't quite make it back to the city (49 min)
Manoir Lac St Fancois- the closest place to stay, if not the most conventional. Lol. (19 min)
*distance from the church. Time may vary if driving from the farm.
And keep in mind that for those with an adventurous heart and thick skin (or thin wallet!) there will be ample room to pop a tent back at my Mum's place! She has a nice big field with a bubbling brook and friendly cows across the fence. Of course, we can't promise that mother nature will be on our side. But that's part of the adventure, right?
